* *** NEXTDOOR_POSTS_FOR_2025-11-04 TXT - 20 Oct 2025 00:10:04 - JGKNAUTH (Nextdoor post done on 10/20/25 for Precinct 19-24) ======================================================================== Information about the 11/4/25 Election ----------- ----- --- ------- -------- If you are seeing this post, it is likely that you are in the new Wake County Voting Precinct 19-24 or else are very nearby. Although this post is meant for Precinct 19-24, much of it also applies to adjacent precincts. Hope Lutheran Church, the polling place for Precinct 19-24, has never been a polling place before. Work is still underway to get it ready for Election Day, making this post later than usual. This election there will be a learning experience for us all -- voters, precinct officials, church personnel, and parents of Hope Lutheran preschoolers. For some items specific to Hope Lutheran, e.g., times to avoid because of dropoffs/pickups of children for the preschool, see this section of my 19-24.htm file: http://jgkhome.name/WakeBOE/19-24.htm#spcons . The rest of http://jgkhome.name/WakeBOE/19-24.htm provides general information about elections and has changed little from its 19-19.htm predecessor. It describes how to view your voter registration data, how to change it, photo ID information, instructions for proper use of the Tabulator, how to view your sample ballot, links to other important pages on the Wake County Board of Elections website, etc. The Wake Forest and Rolesville municipal elections are only two weeks away. Early voting started on 10/16/25. Unfortunately there are no early voting sites near our precinct; the closest (the Wake County Board of Elections Office) is 10 to 15 miles away, depending on where you live in 19-24. There is a map in 19-24.htm. You can request an absentee ballot until 10/21/25, which may be past by the time you read this. Of course the 19-24 polling place at Hope Lutheran Church will be open on Election Day, 11/4/25, from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. To vote in a municipal election in our precinct, you must reside within either the Wake Forest or Rolesville corporate limits. Voters in unincorporated areas are *NOT* eligible to vote in municipal elections. A valid photo ID, e.g., an NC driver license, is required for the 11/4/25 election. See https://www.ncsbe.gov/voting/voter-id . To verify your eligibility to vote in this election, check your voter registration information, which is very easy to do. Instructions are in http://jgkhome.name/WakeBOE/19-24.htm . The registration information lists your polling place and the municipality associated with your registered residence address. (Hopefully you have kept the Wake County Board of Elections up-to-date with your residence address.) By Election Day you must have lived at your current address for 30 or more days to have that address considered to be your residence address for this election. If you have any questions, you can call the Wake County Board of Elections at 919-404-4040 or email them at voter@wake.gov. Accessing your voter registration information will also let you view a sample ballot appropriate for your registered residence address. Under "Sample Ballot(s)" on the 11/04/2025 line, 19-24 voters will see one of these as the ballot style: * "V0014" if the registered address is in Wake Forest * "V0015" if the registered address is in Rolesville * "No eligible ballots" if the address is in an unincorporated region; residents there are not eligible to vote in the 11/4/25 election Jeff Knauth Chief Judge for Precinct 19-24 (This not an official Wake County Board of Elections communication. It is being provided as a courtesy by me to Precinct 19-24 voters to help them in the voting process, in particular at the 19-24 polling place.) ######################################################################## Nextdoor "Neighborhoods" Fully or Partly in Precinct 19-24 -------- --------------- ----- -- ------ -- -------- ----- Courtyards at Heritage Grove Granite Falls Heritage Heritage Bluffs Heritage Manor Heritage Overlook Heritage Reserve (in Heritage Overlook) Heritage South Heritage Wake Forest Ivy Creek - Centaur Parkside Heritage WF Regency at Heritage (in Granite Falls) Saddle Run Stonewater Titanic Court
