Curbside Voting Procedure  (Fall 2014)

 
OFFICIALS ((((   Via intercom, curbside voter signals desire to vote:   ((((  "HELLO IN THERE!" CURBSIDE
VOTER
   Take blank Curbside Affidavit form, black pen, and privacy sleeve to voter.
 
REGISTRATION TABLE
Voter states name and residence address.  and party affiliation. 
If DEM, LIB, or UNA, tell voter that for this Republican runoff election only REP ballots are available. DEM and LIB cannot vote REP.  UNA can vote REP only if he/she voted REP in May or did not vote in May.  Only the eligible voters are in the Poll Books for this election.  If voter believes he/she is eligible, proceed.
Voter takes oath on Curbside Affidavit, then completes and signs form.
Curbside Official signs Curbside Affidavit.
    Return completed Curbside Affidavit form, pen, and privacy sleeve.   
Registration Table Official finds voter in pollbook, verifies voter information, and removes ATV from pollbook.   (If this is not for a "Perfect Scenario Voter", Curbside Official must go to the Help Table.)
↓↓↓      Take ATV to Ballot Table.    
BALLOT
TABLE
Ballot Table Official checks ATV for ballot style, gets ballot, and records issued ballot style on ATV, but does not number ATV yet. Curbside Affidavit is stored at the Ballot Table with other such forms.
Take ATV,  Photo ID form,  ballot, pen, and privacy sleeve to voter.  →→
Voter verifies and signs ATV, then returns it to Curbside Official.
 Curbside Official and voter process Photo ID form. 
Voter receives ballot, fills it out, and puts it into privacy sleeve.
Meanwhile Curbside Official checks and initials ATV.
 If required, Official then copies voter data from ATV to Photo ID form. 
Curbside Official asks voter to wait while ballot is inserted into tabulator.
←←    Return completed ballot (in privacy sleeve), signed ATV, and pen.  
                 Return top half of Photo ID form if voter information was entered.          
 ATV and ballot (still in privacy sleeve) are given to a Judge (may be 
 the Chief Judge), who verifies the ATV has been completed properly. 

Note:  If the Curbside Official is a Judge, the ballot must be given to a different Judge for insertion into the M100.
ATV is given to Ballot Table Official to be numbered and spindled.
 Any completed Photo ID form is returned to the Registration Table. 
↓↓↓      The Judge takes ballot (still in privacy sleeve) to M100.     
M100
TABULATOR
Judge inserts ballot into M100 and checks that it was read correctly.
  Take "I Voted" sticker to voter and say "Your ballot was counted".    →→
